Here's How It Works
Therapy & Support
For Every Stage Of Life

Individual Therapy
Support for adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationships, or just needing space to process and reflect. This is a place to slow down, reconnect, and move forward in a way that feels true to you.

Child, Youth & Teen Therapy
We work with children and teens facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges. Whether it’s anxiety, school stress, family changes, or big feelings, we offer a space where young people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Family Therapy
Families are complex. We help untangle miscommunication, rebuild connection, and navigate difficult dynamics. We support families in building understanding and stronger, healthier relationships with each other.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy provides a structured and supportive space where partners can identify unhelpful patterns, improve communication skills, deepen emotional understanding, and collaboratively work through issues to build trust, intimacy, and connection.

Parenting & Caregiver Support
Being a caregiver is hard, especially when you’re trying to support someone else while managing your own stress. These sessions offer a space to unpack what’s going on and gain tools to support your child and yourself.

Group Therapy
Special group therapy classes are offered several times a year, each focusing on different themes such as relationships, stress, or self-growth, and provide a supportive space for shared learning and connection.
What To Expect
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big (and sometimes nerve-wracking) step, especially if it’s new to you. Here’s a little about what it’s like for us to work together, so you know what to expect and can feel more comfortable getting started.

Not Sure If It's A Good Fit?
It’s totally normal to feel unsure at first. That’s why we offer a free 15-minute phone or video consult. Just a quick chat where you can ask questions, talk a bit about what’s going on, and see if it feels like a good fit for you (or your child or family). No pressure, no commitment.
The First Session
Our first session is a little longer than usual so we have time to settle in and get to know each other. We'll go through an intake form together that helps me understand what brought you to therapy, what your daily life looks like, and a bit about your background and the important people in your life.
It also helps me get a feel for what kind of therapeutic approach might work best for you. There’s no pressure to share everything right away — we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable.
If you’re coming in with your child or teen, I usually start by meeting with the parent or caregiver first. From there, we’ll figure out the best plan going forward.
Ongoing Sessions
Once we’ve had that first session, for individuals we’ll move into regular 50-minute sessions. For couples or families ongoing sessions will be 80 minutes. Some people like to come weekly, some biweekly, and others just check in when they need to — we’ll figure out what works best for you and your life.
Therapy looks a little different for everyone. Some sessions are focused on talking things through, others on learning practical strategies, and sometimes it’s just about having a space where you can be heard and supported. If I’m working with kids or teens, sessions might include creative ways of expressing feelings — like play, drawing, or storytelling. I also keep in touch with parents throughout the process, so you feel informed and included.
Come As You Are
You don’t need to have it all figured out to start therapy. You don’t need to know what to say, or even be sure what you’re feeling. This is a space where you can just show up — messy, confused, hopeful, hurting, curious — and be met with care, respect, and no judgment. Whatever’s going on, we’ll figure it out together.
